As Owner and Director of Awakening Knowledge Hypnotherapy, Karen focuses on helping clients realize their most personal dreams. Utilizing hypnosis as the tool to understand past challenges, she helps clients re-frame these challenges as beneficial events which move the client to a higher level of personal awareness, functionality, and success.

After more than 25 years of managing and owning both retail and service businesses she returned to her passion in the field of psychology and hypnotherapy. Her diversified business experience offers her the opportunity to understand many business people and their complex problems and dilemmas they face.

A versatile and experienced expert in indirect induction methods, Karen is also a Certified Trainer in hypnotherapy. She brings to her practice a rich background and understanding of holistic healthcare and traditional healing. Combining elements from many different disciplines and modalities enables her to present a multi-faceted approach to hypnotherapy. She is known as a conscientious, intuitive teacher who brings out the best in her clients.

Karen is a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, a Master Hypnotherapist, and Psychotherapist registered with the State of Colorado. She received her certification as a Certified Hypnotherapist and a Master Hypnotherapist from NATH. Additional studies through the American Academy of Hypnotherapy granted her a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist designation. She is now an instructor with the American Academy of Hypnotherapy as well as Student Advisor. She is dedicated to helping facilitate lasting change in her client’s lives with specialization in the fields of Bereavement, Phobias, Abuse Recovery, Spirit Releasement, and Regression Therapies.

Personal experience and study of angelic intervention and guidance over the last 12 years have played a big part of her professional development. She is a Certified Chartist and Consultant through Inner Expansion Workshops for the Soul.

With over 24 years of study and experience with the philosophy of Science of the Mind, Karen is now studying to achieve her Science of Mind Practitioner designation and her Masters in Divinity through the Earnest Holmes Institute.

Karen offers workshops, demonstrations, group sessions, individual sessions, lectures and classes on may different topics including hypnotherapy, spirituality, angelic guidance, business ownership, entrepreneurship, and leasing commercial retail space.
